Conditions of use
Once you register you will be sent the conditions of use, which are summarised here:
The tissue supplied must be used solely for the purposes of the project defined in the Tissue Request Form, and only by named collaborators (or research assistants) working under the direction of named individuals.
The tissue must not be passed on to a third party without the permission of the BDR coordinating centre.
At all times, BDR remains the custodian of the tissue, and if tissue remains further to its use in named experiments, it is the responsibility of the researcher in question to return remaining tissue to the relevant Brain Bank for re-use or respectful disposal.
BDR must be informed of the outcome of the project and any resulting publications or talks. The supply of tissue by BDR should be acknowledged in all publications and presentations.
