Our Achievements
Since the project started we have:
- Received full ethical approval for the entire project from a Research Ethics Committee specializing in Research Tissue Banks.
- Appointed nurses/psychologists at each centre to coordinate assessment and donation.
- Established neuropathological protocols to improve research.
- Set up a secure web-based searchable tissue database to enable more ready access to tissue for approved research scientists and clinicians.
