Brains for dementia research

Researchers are invited to register for access to the tissue database.

Registered users are able to search for and request tissue.

To register click on the link at the bottom of this page, then click the Register button on the first page that appears.

On the form that then appears, enter your name, title, email address, your professional address etc. and a password (no restrictions on length/characters).

You will need to show that you work for a bona-fide research institution or company and supply details of this together with a brief reason for your wanting access to the system. We will check this information.

All fields marked * must be filled.

Once you have submitted your application you will receive a form from us by email. Print out and complete the form and return a signed paper copy by post to us.

The form should be accompanied by a photocopy of your passport (or driving licence) as proof of your identity.

Your application will be assessed and access granted if approved. Subsequently, you will enter your ID (your email address) and password to access the database.
